Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit Coding is Love (codingislove.com), who collects it and what choices you have. Coding is Love is a developer blog run by Ranjith. If you have a question about this policy, email [email protected].
What we collect
Coding is Love has no user accounts, comment forms, newsletter sign-up or contact forms, so we never ask you for personal information, and the site’s own code sets no cookies. The information described below is collected by the services that host the site and serve its ads.
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message, and we use them only to reply to you.
Advertising: Google AdSense
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense, which pay for running it. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies, such as device identifiers, to serve ads, to measure how ads perform and to prevent fraud.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- If you haven’t opted out of third-party ad serving, the cookies of other third-party vendors or ad networks may also be used to serve ads on this site.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu. If you opt out, you still see ads, but they are based on the page you’re reading and your general location instead of your interests.
Google explains what it does with this information in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Consent for visitors in Europe
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google appears on your first visit. It is Google’s consent management platform, certified under the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework. You can accept, refuse, or choose which purposes and advertising partners to allow, and ads are personalized only if you consent.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Privacy and cookie settings” link that Google shows on the page, or with the button at the end of this policy.
Hosting and analytics: Cloudflare
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes your IP address, your browser details and the pages you request. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and doesn’t fingerprint your device; it reports which pages are viewed, the referring website, browser and device type, and country, as totals. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Embedded content from other websites
Some posts embed videos, code demos and other content from websites such as YouTube, CodePen, CodeSandbox, Giphy and Google Docs. An embed behaves as if you visited that website: it may set cookies and collect information about you under that website’s own privacy policy.
Links to other websites
Posts link to other websites. We aren’t responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Children
Coding is Love is written for developers and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in Europe and the UK or under US state privacy laws such as California’s, you may have the right to know what personal information is held about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or limit how it is used. The only personal information we hold ourselves is email you send us; to ask about it, email us. For information collected by Google or Cloudflare, use the choices described above or contact them.
